Overview

Paste Keyboard ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Data We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the app:

• Usage analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage events (e.g. app opens, feature usage) via Firebase Analytics. This data cannot identify you personally.
• Crash reports: Anonymous crash logs to help us fix bugs.
• Purchase data: If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We do not store your payment information.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• The text content of your snippets — these are stored only on your device.
• Keystrokes or anything you type using the keyboard.
• Your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information (unless you contact us directly).
• Location data.
• Contacts or photos.

Keyboard Extension & "Full Access"

Paste Keyboard does not require Full Access to function. If you choose to enable it (for certain advanced features), we still do not log, transmit, or store anything you type. The keyboard extension operates entirely offline for snippet pasting.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Firebase Analytics & Remote Config (Google) — anonymous analytics and app configuration.
• RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management.
• Google AdMob — ads shown to free-tier users. AdMob may use your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) with your permission, as governed by iOS App Tracking Transparency.

App Tracking Transparency

In accordance with Apple's ATT framework, we will ask for your permission before tracking your activity across apps and websites. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Data Retention

Your snippets are stored locally on your device and are never sent to our servers. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Firebase for up to 14 months as per their default policy.

Children's Privacy

Paste Keyboard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated through an app update. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
